“Sharing Dreams, Sharing Value – Be Part of It” was the motto of Bayer MaterialScience (now Covestro) at the 2013 K Trade Fair in Düsseldorf. Within the scope of the master plan by Phocus Brand, MESO designed and implemented an integrated media system based on extensive user engagement. An interactive sculpture, mobile apps, and a video wall invited visitors to learn about Bayer products and innovations. Our bespoke content management system facilitated the delivery of collaboratively created information across all media.

We used high-tech Bayer rear-projection material to build a large-scale sculpture. The unique geometry communicates the highest design standards in material science.

Integrated social media

Visitors were invited to send their “personal dreams” via email. The experience provided by our seamless integration generated a compellingly high conversion rate.

Mobile apps & responsive website

One focus was on an app as a conversational tool with which Bayer experts explained their products to clients or visitors of the trade fair.

We had the task of bringing the “Dream Bubbles” to the public as a consumer app to iPads and Android smartphones.

Another focus was the full responsiveness of the “Sharing Dreams” website which needed to run on all modern web-browsers.

The complex 3D engine is completely based on HTML/CSS and Javascript programming.

Stage shows

On a nearby stage, moderators talked about the latest product innovations of Bayer MaterialScience.

Our media system drives interactive presentations with cutting edge graphics.

Bespoke Content Management System

Coordinating all information distributed among the physical, mobile, and online media measures required a central content management system.

To fit Bayer’s cross-department workflow we built a bespoke CMS solution with a multi-level approval process. It also assured live updates during the running show.
